Texas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)

Texas CASA has been a client since 2001. Social Impact Consulting conducted the strategic planning process for the statewide board from setting the vision through developing long-range strategic priorities and detailed action plans. Texas CASA has subsequently contracted Social Impact Consulting to provide strategic planning services for more than 35 of its urban, rural and suburban programs throughout Texas.

The Texas Center for the Judiciary

Texas Center for the Judiciary has as its mission, “Judicial Excellence Through Education, by providing leadership in education and training so that a qualified and knowledgeable judiciary may administer justice with fairness, efficiency, and integrity.” The Texas Center needed to integrate the efforts of the two Boards responsible for different aspects of Center policy and planning, to achieve consensus on strategic direction, and to develop a strategic plan.  Social Impact Consulting interviewed key Board leaders, designed a three-day strategy retreat, and facilitated 25 Board members through the formulation of a strategic plan that incorporated specific short- and long –term objectives, as well as 10-year “compelling ideas”. Following adoption of this Plan, Social Impact Consulting facilitated strategic planning sessions with the Center’s management team to create an operational work plan aligned to the Board adopted Plan.
